Our office hours are 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Fridays. Saturday hours are scheduled by individual therapists. After hours, emergency calls are answered and appropriately forwarded.

Genesis Counseling Services, Ltd. has served Rock County and surrounding areas since 1988.  We provide a wide range of confidential counseling services to address a variety of psychiatric, psychological, mental health, and personal concerns. The agency serves individuals, couples, and families of all ages and lifestyles. Genesis is an approved provider for most insurance and managed care plans. Medicare, Medicaid and private pay are accepted.

Genesis Counseling Services is proud to announce the addition of our newest staff member Dr. Michael G. Brown.  Dr. Brown is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Wisconsin.  He obtained his Doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Dr. Brown has over 20 years of experience in a number of settings including Central Wisconsin Center, St Colettas School, and many others.  His duties included behavioral assessment and therapy for children, adolescents, and the developmentally disabled population.  He has extensive experience in clinical assessment, treatment, program development, and staff training.  He has a reputation in the community for being especially talented working with adolescent boys and men.  His other areas of clinical expertise also include but are not limited to assessment, testing, depression, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional defiant children, and men’s issues.  He is the newest member of our staff and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.  We are very excited for him to join us and we know the community is as well.
